This action may be set in a ‘free-float’ mode, which allows dynamic movement and constant support for the user’s back, or alternatively can be locked off in any desired position using lightweight fingertip controls.
Tension control of the action may be simply adjusted to the user’s body weight. In addition, this mechanism has an anti-return safety feature.

Spyne also has an aesthetically pleasing back detail, either plain or upholstered, and height can be easily adjusted from the seated position by means of a sophisticated ‘no-touch’ ratchet mechanism, while the seat depth may be easily adjusted using lightweight fingertip controls.
