In a challenging market, VERCO is pleased to report continuing increased sales through our dealer channels with major contract gains. Invoiced sales were up by 12.5% in 2007.

"Our dealer order levels are showing continued good form and the response to our new programmes launched at this year's Design Prima show in London has been very strong," says sales and marketing director, Chris Riley.

Star performer through 2007 in the company's fast-expanding furniture portfolio was the Oblique furniture range. Year-on-year sales of these fast-assembly, free-standing desks, systems and bench solutions have tripled thanks to contracts with the likes of Everton Football Club, Yes Telecom, financial services provider Harrington Brooks and even film sets for blockbuster movie thriller The Bourne Ultimatum. Find out more about these contracts in the case studies section.

Highlighting the strength in depth of VERCO's product range are other key contracts with architects Norman Foster and Nicol Thomas; the Cancer Research Council; the Islamic School; De Vere Venues and recycling specialist SITA.

Chris continues: "We expect to continue to grow our market share throughout 2008 on the basis of supplying great products at competitive prices, backed by the first rate service levels provided by our company in association with our dealerships."

Meetings can go on all morning; conferences for a day, yet seating commonly provided does not always stand up to prolonged use at any one time.

VERCO's response is Mix conference armchairs, combining a light and modern feel to heightened comfort for the long-haul event.

These chairs feature upholstered medium or full backs, which have been fixed at the armrest to achieve enhanced responsiveness. Contoured seats allow the user to sit in comfort for longer periods, while the silver or chrome cantilever frames promote user micro-movement, alleviating many of the problems associated with prolonged sitting still.

Upholstery is available in a wide range of quality fabrics whose appearance will be preserved even when the chairs are stacked, thanks to a discreet protective buffer pad beneath the seat.

VERCO's library of downloadable literature grows apace with the addition of 8 (count them, 8!) mini-brochures to the catalogues in the downloads section.

In the Dealer log-in section, dealers can now download high resolution images of the new product ranges launched at this year's Design Prima - Song, DNA, Vibe and Mix - along with high quality pictures of existing ranges.

Our downloadable 2D CAD blocks are also bang up to date with the new ranges. For your convenience, all blocks are available in 2000, 2004 AND 2007 formats.

National accountancy practice, Baker Tilly, has recently completed a refurbishment of its Hereford regional office. The refurbishment was carried out by the local VERCO dealer, A4 Office Products, who presented ideas embracing the practical and aesthetic needs of staff and clients.

The new environment features a reception area with break out seating for informal meetings plus three formal meeting rooms. Beyond lie six executive suites for the partners and open plan administration areas.

Executive suites have been fitted with VERCO Intuition desks, with credenza and kidney table tops. Matching storage in cherry or walnut veneer finishes are complemented by Select high back chairs in a variety of colours.

The three meeting rooms feature Intuition round tables and MFC tilt-top tables with Focus chairs. Other areas employ VERCO Visual 3 panel-ended desks in oak MFC together with black-upholstered Profile task chairs.

"The office looks completely fresh yet everything belongs, to the extent you could believe it had been there forever," Baker Tilly Partner, Mike Horwood, observes.

Furniture was chosen with the full involvement and consultation of staff. “Everyone got to choose from the same catalogues,” said Mike. “It was an enjoyable process that benefited in practical and morale terms too.”

"A4 and VERCO acted as an extension to our family here," he said. "Everyone worked to the time scales we set and we've had good feedback from clients in terms of what's been achieved."
