VERCO were again invited to exhibit at
the UK's premier office furniture showcase, Design
Prima, in its inaugural year at Islington's prestigious
Business Design Centre.
Record numbers of dealers and
specifiers were keen to get a jump on the marketplace
with an early viewing of three exciting new additions
to our product range: Song,
DNA
& Vibe.
"We
had a fabulous show with three times the number
of visitors to the stand compared with last year's
show," says sales and marketing director
Chris Riley. "The event proved a perfect
showcase for reflecting our commitment to define
the culture and values of our products through
qualities of simplicity, sophistication, performance
and affordability." |

VERCO's
new compact, medium back tub chair, Song
(big brother Dance available early
next year), is mounted on wire or swivel base
frames.
Intelligently combining proportion
and comfort to forge a strong visual statement,
both offer a touch of luxury and effortless beauty
for all users of 'break-out' and visitor areas.
The designs are the fruit of
a blossoming relationship with one of Britain's
finest furniture designers, Simon Pengelly.
Simon explains: " VERCO
wanted to establish a long-term relationship with
us and suggested we start with a seating range
for visitor and breakout areas. |

"I'm always encouraged
when British companies approach us to do contemporary furniture.
There aren't that many doing it proactively and VERCO showed
every intention of looking holistically at their range. VERCO
gets behind design with quality literature, PR and showcases
such as Prima.
"We didn't seek
to reinvent the wheel but to create work that fitted well
with existing ranges yet reflected progress. We did seek to
imbue the chairs with a personality which hadn't been seen
before - a bit cheeky. But there's nothing wrong in that."

A
major upgrade in training facilities for Everton
Football Club incorporates a fit-out of VERCO
workplace furniture LED by Merseyside-based office
specialist O&ES Interiors Limited and their
managing director Brian Glover.
The new state-of-the-art facility
at Finch Farm training complex in Halewood is
expected to help develop young talent for the
club and incorporates changing facilities, offices
for 50 staff, an indoor football pitch surrounded
by 10 full size grass pitches, a full size synthetic
pitch, two half size pitches and two goal-keeping
areas.
Everton opted for broad use of VERCO furniture
at the new premises. Visitors are greeted by reception
seating from the Verona
range while open plan office areas are equipped
with Oblique
Visual and Intuition
desking and storage.

Management offices are treated
to Corniche
executive furniture while training rooms make full use of
elements from VERCO's extensive conferencing furniture including
Plaza
modular seating, VERCO
Smile visitor chairs, Wap
and Sting
stacking chairs and MFC
folding tables.
